| NEW COMEC MODEL MOU 2AF TWIN SPINDLE SLOT MORTISER FOR WINDOW TRICKLE VENTS |
A heavy duty, substantially built single sided twin spindle oscillating slot mortiser designed for mortising double or single slots in window and patio door frames for trickle vents. The mortise head carriage has an oscillation stroke of 0 to 250mm making it possible to produce 2 x separate mortise slots of say 150mm long or by altering the interaxis of the mortise spindles 1 x 500mm long mortise slot. Approx. cycle time to produce 2 x 150mm long slots x 85mm deep would be about 15 to 20 seconds. The oscillation stroke is easily set through a mechanical digital readout and there is also the possibility to tilt the table upto 30 degrees to accommodate vent slots that are angled in the window head

- Oscillating carriage with on precision slides and linear bearings 1000mm long.
- Adjustable oscillation stroke of 0-250mm enabling the 2 x electro mortise spindles when positioned as required to make an overall mortise slot length of 500mm
- 2 x millimetric scales on the carriage with zero ctre line for the positioning of the mortise heads
- 2hp oscillation motor with speed inverter and mechanical digital readout to set oscillation stroke
- 2 x direct drive independent electro spindles. Each 1.8hp / 12,000 RPM. Speed adjustable through inverter. Lateral adjustment through rack and pinion
- 4 x adjustable pneumatic clamps.
- Advancement of spindle carriage on precision hardened slideways and linear bearings
- Advancement stroke of spindle carriage 150mm, speed controlled via pneumatic hydrocheck, max workpiece width for through mortise maximum depth of 80/85mm approx.
- Height adjustable table via handwheel with mechanical digital readout for height position
- Manually adjustable tilting table 0-45 degrees with adjustable side reference stop.
- Side and rear CE safety guarding.
