The Doormaster is specifically designed for cutting to length and making the mitred cut for the corner joint in door frame profiles, linings and architraves made from MDF or timber. The machine consists of 2 automatic upcut saw units, the right hand saw has a fixed position while the left hand saw is moveable. Both have independent angle setting of 45 to 90 degrees. The unique feature of the Doormaster is the twin spindle drilling unit mounted on top of each saw unit. Once the saws have made the mitred cut the drills which are angled at 45 degrees come in to make 2 counter sunk holes at 45 degrees. When the 3 elements of the frame (2 x uprights and head) are ready for assembly, the patented Toskar fixing system is used. This consists of a plastic insert and screw which precisely locates and securely fastens the frame together with no need for jigs or any further manual drilling.
