A dedicated specially designed heavy duty machine to automatically end chamfer and bore newel post bases. The heavy monobloc steel frame construction guarantees a perfect alignment between the head and drilling / milling units. The head rotation is carried out by means of a variable speed motor drive controlled electronically, which allows to always brake the head in the same position. As standard the machine is equipped with a PLC and simple to use touch screen controller for setting / programming the working cycle.
