A rugged and versatile clamping system specifically designed for solid wood edge and face laminating of both hard woods and softwoods. Available in two standard sizes, the Clamp Rack (or Panel Clamp) is ideal for the production of components such as panels, joinery sections, stair components, block gluings, and table tops etc. Frames can also be clamped. The patented equalizer clamp arms incorporate a number of important features not found on other types of mechanical clamp that help ensure a quality glue joint is produced. They can be positioned anywhere on the frame being easily moved from side to side / row to row. When not in use they can be hung vertically from a top support bar thus saving valuable workshop space. For face laminating material up to 150mm (6") in thickness optional rocker plates can be supplied which easily slide over the top and bottom clamp jaws thus evenly distributing the clamping pressure. When using the 401 type clamp and rocker plates material up to 200mm (8") can be laminated. Standard max. opening of the clamp arm is 1020mm (40") although larger sizes are available on request

Specification

JLT 2.4m (8ft) clamp rack frame with 5 gluing levels. Equipped with 18 off 302 type clamp arms with 1020mm (40") max. opening and 90mm (2.5") high jaws.


JLT 3.6m (12ft) clamp rack frame with 5 gluing levels. Equipped with 30 off 302 type clamp arms with 1020mm (40") max. opening and 90mm (3.5") high jaws.

(On request larger opening clamps up to 52" can be supplied)

100mm - 150mm (4" to 6" rocker plates) for use with 302 type clamp arms to faciltate face laminating up to 100mm (4") in thickness. (per pair)
Heavy duty 401 type clamp arms with 660mm (26") max. opening and 100mm (4") high jaws complete with rocker plates to faciltate face laminating up to 200mm (8") in thickness
Special hand held heavy duty wrench for tightening / loosening 401 clamp arms
Telescopic hold down bars to help prevent buckling on thin panels (width 300mm/12" - 940mm/37") each
Redi spreader PVA glue applicator for the simple and efficient application of PVA adhesive to the components prior to clamping - 150mm (6") x 660mm (27") capacity
Plate Spreader PVA glue applicator (As above) - 200mm (8") x 1220mm (48") capacity
Franklin international Titebond PVA adhesive for solid wood edge/face laminating. 5 US gallon drum (interior use)
