The T4 lathe incorporates a sensitive hydraulic copy unit that allows for components to be accurately reproduced from either a sample or a template. It is also fitted as standard with hydraulic controllable advance of the tool saddle moving on precision ground slideways, a two speed motor giving 8 advance speeds, semi automatic centreing system and manually operated back knives for end dowel production. For heavy stock removal the T4 can be set for a two pass operation ie roughing out and finishing
