Manual control with automatic nailing
Where the factory wishes to retain control over the assembly process it is often more efficient to use the semi automatic framing station. This enable the operators to lay up the panels using rails pre marked using pencil, ink jet printing or laser display (see page for more details). Any alterations they make in the factory can be easily accommodated by trained operators. |

Method of operation
The framing station can be used by either one or two men who can work from either the middle of the line or from the outside depending the configuration of the panels being manufactured. The rails are placed on the tables and the first stud put into position. The tables are closed and the panel is manufacture is nailed from both sides. The operator then pulls the nail guns the next position and places the next stud or subassembly into position. |
