Stromab Matrix


The Stromab Matrix range of automatic push fed cross cut
saws are well established in both the UK and Irish markets
with over 120 successful installations.

Standard Infeed pusher lengths of 3m up to 7m can be specified with a choice of three saw units with either a 350, 500 or 600mm sawblade diameter capacity.

Infeed tables are of heavy duty design while the pusher unit drivesystem is via rack and pinion for maximum positioning accuracy. On request partial or full optimisation packages are available along with defect cutting.



The Stromab CT600 offers the facility for straight or angled cutting

The machine consists of heavy duty infeed tables with a programmable pusher with a capacity of up to 6200mm. The saw unit, which swivels, incorporates a 10hp main motor and 600mm dia blade.

Programming is simple via a touch screen controller with the facility of remote programming of the cutting list with connection via a USB key.

Optimisation software is supplied as standard while the cutting sequence, either straight or angled, is fully automatic.
Stromab CT600

H&M from Holland manufacture a range of heavy duty automatic cross cut saws that are widely used in the Timber Frame industry. The HM/D is a straight cutting saw while the HM/T can make straight or compound angle cuts.

The machines can be designed and specified to suit customers individual production requirements and on request can incorporate additional notching or trenching heads and also complete infeed and outfeed cross chain feeding systems. For part identification label printers or inkjet printers can also be supplied.



For Manual Cross Cutting there are two ranges of machine available. Stromab offer two models of standard pull over cross cut saws the RS650X and RS650HD.

Graule from Germany manufacture the ZS range of cross cut saws that have the unique feature that for angle cutting the saw unit pivots around a single central point thus always maintaining the same cutting length. The saws are available in a number of configurations to suit customers individual production requirements and can be supplied with various options including motorised angle setting with LED readouts, a laser for alignment of the saw cut and a range of different type roller tables and stops. The Graule QNF model is specifically designed for trenching, grooving and is fitted with a manual hydrocheck unit and pneumatic workpiece clamps. All manual saws can be linked to a Tiger stop positioning system which is also available in a variety of sizes and configurations to suit customers individual production requirements.
