Project Range Of CNC Machining Centres For Joinery And Panel Production

About this Product

Masterwood are one of the worlds leading manufacturers of quality CNC machining centres and have supplied over 400 machines in the UK to date. Joinery production is a particular area the company have specialised in and have developed a range of their own resident software, most of which has been specifically developed for the UK. In addition they can also supply dedicated Mastercabinet software for panel production.

The machines are available in a number of different configurations and sizes to suit customers individual production requirements. Tables can be either vacuum pod (also with mechanical clamps) or flat bed matrix. On the high specification 4000 / 5000 series automatic setting / positioning of the pod system via the program is an option. As standard the Project range are a gantry/bridge type construction thus ensuring maximum machining accuracy, quality and stability.

The machine ranges are as follows:

Flat bed or rail and pod 3,4 or 5 axis CNC routers for panel or solid wood

Panel or wood

Various sizes

Software options

Project TF:
A dedicated, compact through feed drilling machine running off the same software as all the main CNC machines. This is ideal for the small to medium size cabinet manufacturer. It is easy program and set up. On request it can be fitted a router head.

Project 260:
Entry level budget price machine mainly for the panel market, but also strong enough for solid timbers. It has a working bed area of 2700 x 1300mm, a 9kw vertical router head, 14 position drill head, grooving saw and 10 position tool changer. Options include for C axis rotation and extra 4 position tool changer.

Project 460:
There are 4 versions of this model in two bed lengths either 3200mm or 5200mm. Stairs, door sets, windows, bespoke joinery and standard panels can all be machined on the 310 model. As standard a 9kw vertical router head is fitted along with a 19 position drill head, grooving saw. 16 position carousel tool changer taking upto 250mm dia tools. Options include a dedicated horizontal router head ideal for door lock mortising / hinge recessing etc, an extra four tool positions and C axis rotation.

Project 4000:
Larger construction machines for higher output and heavy duty machining applications. Options include 5 axis router head, extra tooling positions to take tools up to 350mm dia, and automatic positioning of the pods / clamps. Bed lengths 3200 and 5200mm.

Project 360:
The largest, highest specification machines for high output and demanding machining applications with gantry style construction. Options include twin heads, high tooling levels, automatic bed setting. Working lengths can be specified at 3200, 5200 and 6200mm.

Project 4WIN:
The all new 4WIN CNC with its unique design and working system allows any type of window to be designed using MasterWindow software. From this the cutting sheets and machine programmes are automatically generated. The components to be machined are optimised on to the fully automatic bed and clamping system. The timber is held rigid while trimming and jointing operations are carried out followed by the internal profiling, including mitred glazing bead retrieval. Then after automatic position changing of the clamps the external profiling is carried out, along with any required ironmongery machining. This process removes the need of setting and marking out. In addition on request the machine can be configured for door and stair machining, making it even more versatile.

- MasterWorks is the standard dedicated Cad/Cam software pre-loaded on all machines for quick and simple basic programming.
- MasterCabinet - optional.
- Masterwood Stair - optional.
- MasterWindow Professional - optional.
- MasterSliding Sash - optional.
- Mastermulti-positioning - optional.
- Master AT - optional
