A CNC controlled wood turning lathe of 4 axis which includes a roughing gouge, finishing gouge and headstock motor with inverter allowing for control of the spindle speed through the PC.
As standard the machine is also equipped with 2 x overhead programmable dowel knife units, hydraulically activated. The machine
has an automatic hopper feed loading device and optional internal conveyor belt to remove the turned part.
Programming of the pieces to be turned is quick and sample thanks to the user friendly IntorEDIT design software with the facility to program directly at the machine controller or remotely on a PC or laptop.
Thanks to the quick set up times the CKI is ideal for producing one off bespoke turnings or short production runs.
On request the machine can be supplied with a 4th CNC controlled axis meaning a router head or milling head for fliting / twisting can be mounted or a sanding head.
