Smarter roof truss manufacturing with Stavelse
The Stavelse PCI Automatic Truss Press is a smart, automated machine transforming the prefabrictation of roof trusses. Due to the solid and stable design of the machine, it delivers the precision, speed and power that cannot be ignored in roof truss manufacturing.
Operators can choose between “touch-and-go” commands or automate the process with DXF files. Following the DXF files, the truss press knows exactly where to place the timber and press the connectors - reducing hours of manual labour and guaranteeing accuracy. With the flexibility to program additional points directly on the machine, manufacturers can adapt production to their specific requirements.
Automated insulation filling with X-Floc
Both the X-Floc Fibreblow Essential Line and X-Floc Fibreblow Premium Line utilise insulation technologies to enhance efficiency and consistency in insulation processes.
At the heart of the Fibreblow Premium Line is the Premium Plate. Combined with the Feeder Lift or Drop units, it blows insulation fibres into the cavities of roofs, walls and ceilings at high speed with consistency. This high-performance and health-friendly system integrates seamlessly into both new and existing production setups.
The three core components of the Fibreblow Essential Line - big bale conditioner, insulation blow-in machine and injection panel - eliminate the need for cutting and fitting insulation boards, significantly reducing waste, time and labour. The system can run manually or as part of an automated production line, allowing flexibility for small workshops or industrial-scale factories.
The role of automation in timber frame production
Rising housing targets have put pressure on the construction industry, but with the right technology, timber frame manufacturers can scale up with confidence. Automating timber frame production with advanced woodworking machinery ensures consistent quality, boosts productivity, reduces waste and supports sustainability.
By partnering with leading automation manufacturers such as X-Floc and Stavelse, we can streamline and enhance complex woodworking manufacturing processes, such as timber frame production.
