About this Product

The Comec MD Jamb is a machine that has been specially designed for the processing of door frames in either solid wood , MDF and other materials. It is capable of undertaking a number of different machining operations including lock slots, handle / key holes, lock keeps, hinge recessing, drill holes for screws etc. In addition it can be equipped with single or twin saw units that can cut the jambs to length, plus make a mitre cut / drill dowel holes for the joint with the frame head. On request it can be configured with either an automatic hopper feed loader or as a fully automatic through feed line with infeed and outfeed handling.

  • Heavy duty electro welded steel plate frame to give maximum stability and machining accuracy.
  • Working lengths from 2500 up to 4500mm
  • Workpiece support benches easily slide along x axis for quick positioning complete with pneumatic clamping.
  • Possibility to load two jambs side by side.
  • Special clamping benches for profiled jambs.
  • 1 x vertical electro spindle 3.5kw - standard
  • 1 x horizontal electro spindle 5.4kw - standard.
  • 1 x drilling unit with 4 exit drill unit to drill on top, 2 sides, end of frames - standard.
  • Internal waste conveyor belt standard
  • Additional electro spindles - on request.
  • CNC multi spindle drilling group - on request.
  • Left / right saw units - on request.
  • Automatic hopper feed loading or through feed system - on request.
  • CE safety enclosure -standard
  • OSAI 15" graphic touch screen controller with parametric software assisted by 3D working models.
