About this Product

A simple to operate 3 Axis NC Controlled fully thru feed automatic line for machining of locks / handle holes / hinges on all types of internal doors.

Comprising of Motorised infeed thru to Doormatic machine which is fixed with two horizontal heads for milling and counterchip on fixed side for hinges and two horizontal heads on moving side for producing and squaring of lock recess. A separate vertical spindle to machine out handle and keyhole - all in one process.

Automatic door width control system thru programme and feeler pin to automatically check width tolerances, with motorised outfeed on back end - this machine is a one stop shop for volume door production, and much quicker than traditional flat bed cnc routers which have been standard issue for this type of work.
An optional gantry type system is available for machining apertures / squaring for fire door production.

Door working dimensions:

  • Max length 2600mm / Min length 1700mm
  • Max width 1200mm / Min length 400mm
  • Total Floorspace required: 9000mm x 3000mm
  • Motorised infeed and outfeed roller tables with sensor to detect presense of panel for automatic feeding.

Doormatic Machine

Fixed Side fitted with:

  • Horizontal milling spindle - 2kw (18,000rpm)
  • 2nd Horizontal Milling head - 0.75kw (squaring / antichip / drilling)

Moving Side fitted with:

  • Horizontal spindle - 5.6kw for main lock seat machining (18,000rpm)
  • 2nd Horizontal milling head - 2kw for quality finish of the lock face recess (18,000rpm)
  • Vertical spindle - 2kw (18,000rpm) for handle / key holes.
  • Automatic Width Control system thru the Windows PC programme, to ensure the width on the programme corresponds to the dimension of the door on the infeed (to avoid any damages).
  • Feeler pin for the compensation of width tolerances on many different size - this is located on the moving side of the machine and gives and increase of accuracy in the control on the size of "actual door".
