Saw Unit
Stromab's TR601 MX hydraulic saw unit features a 600mm diameter sawblade, 9kW direct drive saw motor and huge cutting capacity of 660mm wide and 200mm high.
Infeed
The MX model functions like a standard Matrix or CT600 infeed but includes additional built in SAFE modules, photocell barriers and TUV certification. For the increased weight required for proucts such as I-joists, Kerto, Glulam and LVL, Stromab's high performance linear guide system and helical gear system powers this innovative push fed crosscut saw.
Controller
Powered by a state-of-the-art 12" touch screen industrial PC from Beckhoff Germany and TwinCAT automation software, the simple user interface allows four types of data input: Manual Entry / XML / BTL / Excel files. Five programming and optimisation modes are freely selectable - Board Sequence, Priority, Min. Waste, Max. Length & Pre-Optimise* Rotatable 3D piece graphics allow users to visually inspect parts before, during and after they are cut.
*Pre Optimise is available with JJ Smith's Design2Saw office software package. Design2Saw can be used with several machine manufacturers and pre-optimises cutting lists to provide comprehensive data on yields, waste, stock timber and pre-planning production schedules. All cutting list data can be downloaded directly from supported design software packages or enter manually via Excel.
