Simultaneous door machining
The versatile and flexible Centauro Alfa Twin is ideal for a variety of door machining operations, designed for the simultaneous machining of both sides of a door. Equipped with a vacuum system that holds the door in position, the Alfa Twin can perform hinge recessing, lock slots, handle holes, key slots, and drilling of pilot holes or euro grooves with exceptional results and minimal setup time.
Easy-to-use with minimal set-up time
Programming is straightforward thanks to the intuitive colour graphic touch screen controller. This user-friendly interface features pre-installed electronic macro templates, allowing for quick and easy adjustments and making it accessible to operators of all experience levels.
Twin capabilities
The standard configuration of the Alfa Twin includes two milling heads positioned on either side of the door. The lock side automatically adjusts both vertically for handle holes and horizontally for lock case and faceplate machining. This dual-head setup ensures precise and efficient processing of door components. For enhanced functionality, the Alfa Twin offers optional additional machining operations, including producing square corner hinge plate recesses or lock face recesses using additional milling units equipped with 3mm drills. Additionally, the machine is capable of machining frames, providing even greater versatility for your production needs.
