Pade Pluris CNC Machining Centre For Sofa & Chair Frame Parts

The Pluris is a CNC working centre, specifically designed for the volume production of sofa and chair frame parts. The unique feature of the Pluris is that it combines a CNC controlled bandsaw that works in conjunction with an independent CNC controlled router head. Unlike most conventional CNC machining centres, the Pluris does not use a vacuum to hold the sheets to be cut, instead a series of automatic clamping devices are used. The end result is a machine that is highly productive as several sheets can be stacked, cut and machined at the same time. Also thanks to the bandsaw the cutting speeds are increased, plus there can be significant savings on material usage as when using the bandsaw a much tighter nested program can made.

About this Product

Options include an automatic lift table and feeding system, a dedicated CNC drilling head, 5 position linear tool changer for the router head, automatic CNC control positioning of the workpiece clamps and tables. As with all MZ CNC machines FANUC drive and control systems are standard. The Pluris can be used for cutting a wide range of material including chipboard, OSB, MDF plywood, solid or laminated timber, fibre board and other composite materials. Many of the main UK sofa and chair frame manufactures have installed Pluris machines.
